There is no support desk behind this page — just the people who build ColrShift. Say which tool you were on and what you expected, and you will get a real answer.
The tool behind this page is ColrShift, a color converter and contrast checker. Questions usually involve building a palette that stays legible or a number that came out differently than expected, and both are useful to hear about.
Reaching us by email
Email is the reliable route: support@colrshift.com. Most messages get a reply inside one or two working days.
Include this
- The tool name or a link to it.
- A rough version of the color values you type — we only need enough of it to redo the sum.
- A short note on the expected versus actual output.
- Browser and device, whenever something looked broken.
If your question is about checking whether text passes accessibility contrast, say so in the first line — it helps us find the right answer for ColrShift faster.
When a number looks off
An incorrect figure on ColrShift is worth reporting, because the method is not a secret: it converts every format through a common RGB representation, then computes the relative luminance of the two colors to get the WCAG contrast ratio you can compare against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 thresholds. If your result disagrees with that, either an input fell outside the model or a rounding case was missed — send the numbers and we will reproduce it.
What happens to your message
A message you send is kept only long enough to deal with it, and it is never sold or handed to another company. The privacy policy sets out the details.
