These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website colrshift.com (the "Service"), operated by ColrShift ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ColrShift is a free, browser-based color converter. It detects HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK and CSS color-name inputs, converts between all four spaces, checks WCAG 2.1 contrast thresholds against black and white, and generates five harmony palettes. All processing is client-side.

2. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or probe the Service's hosting infrastructure.
• Do not misrepresent tool output — see the disclaimer on the informational nature of conversions and WCAG verdicts.

3. Your content

Colors and palettes you convert remain yours. Because processing is entirely local, we never receive or store them, and we claim no rights over anything you create with the Service.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Conversions follow standard published formulas, but we do not warrant output will match any particular design tool, browser or standard, nor that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ColrShift and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including lost profits or decisions made in reliance on conversions or contrast verdicts — arising from use of the Service.

6. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertisements. Advertisers are responsible for their content, and dealings with them are solely between you and the advertiser.

7. Changes

We may modify or discontinue the Service and update these Terms at any time; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
