This Privacy Policy explains how ColrShift ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the website colrshift.com (the "Service"). The short version: your colors never leave your browser.

1. Your input is never uploaded

ColrShift runs entirely in your browser. Every color you type — HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK or a name — is parsed, converted and proofed locally by JavaScript. No color value, palette or contrast result is transmitted to our servers or any third party. The current color is stored only in your browser's address bar so you can bookmark or share it; closing the tab discards everything.

2. Information we do not collect

The Service has no accounts, no sign-up walls and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email address or any identifying information to use the converter.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Anonymous traffic statistics — aggregate usage patterns (pages visited, approximate region, browser type) to improve the Service.
• Advertising — third-party advertising partners may serve ads and use cookies to deliver and measure them, under their own privacy policies.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking them does not disable the converter.

4. Third-party services

The Service is static and served from a content delivery network, which processes standard request logs (IP address, timestamps, user agent) for security and delivery. Analytics and advertising providers, if any, operate under their own policies. None of them ever receive your color values, because those values are never sent anywhere.

5. Data security

Because all processing is client-side, unreleased brand palettes and NDA-covered colors never cross the network at all. The Service is served over HTTPS.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
